Kraig A. Kupiec
Partner
Kraig Kupiec has a diverse financial and operational background as has
been an active participant as a senior executive in the Financial
Services Industry for over ten years. Having grown a hedge fund from
less than one to over one-hundred million in equity, Mr. Kupiec
understands the various stages of hedge fund growth, changing needs at
each point and creating a corresponding infrastructure for your business
to succeed.
Mr. Kupiec is concurrently a partner and the financial & operations
officer of KWK Management LLC, a SEC registered investment advisor
acting as a General Partner to hedge funds and a founding member and the
financial & operations officer of Shoreline Trading Group LLC, a
securities broker-dealer. Mr. Kupiec has implemented all accounting,
trading, portfolio management and compliance systems for these firms
since inception.
Mr. Kupiec is a Certified Public Accountant with financial audit and tax
experience earned at the Big 4 accounting firms. Prior to entering the
financial services industry, Kraig was CFO of Kingsley Machine Co., a
turn around project which was returned to profitability and sold to
Illinois Tool Works (symbol: ITW). He is a former member of the Board
of Directors of Hanmi Financial Corporation, a Los Angeles based bank (symbol:HAFC)
focused on providing banking services to the Korean-American community.
